American Pharmaceutical Sales Association and the
University of Southern Mississippi
Launch Pharmaceutical Sales Development Training
-===---------------------------------------------------------------===-
Jacksonville Beach, FL. & Hattiesburg, MS--(WIRE)--March 27, 2005—The American Pharmaceutical Sales Association, the nation’s longest running and most respected Pharmaceutical Sales Training organization and the University of Southern Mississippi announced a continued agreement to join efforts to help USM students and alumni with their Pharmaceutical Career endeavors. This comes on the heels of a successful training program held in the fall on campus.
"Students at the University of Southern Mississippi are very fortunate to have people like Amy Yeend and Dr. Smith in their corner,” said Robert Panfili, Executive Director of the American Pharmaceutical Sales Association. “I have always said that our program teaches people invaluable things…but without the help of people like Ms. Yeend and Dr. Smith, students may not fully understand the benefit of pre-graduation certification programs like this. As a student, you can’t ask for anything better than having forward thinkers working with you."
"The American Pharmaceutical Sales Association and I go back to my days at the University of South Alabama," said Amy Yeend, Assistant Director of Career Services in the College of Business. "I can attest, from the past and present, that students have learned a great deal from this program and they continue to show interest in continued learning."
